Amy Kremer – one of us

Amy Kremer shares views of Tea Party for Obama

Amy Kremer, the Chairman of the Tea Party Express, says it herself:

“… has nothing to do with Bush or Obama” and “it doesn’t matter who is in the White House.”

“It’s Congress that holds the purse strings.”

“We are not an arm of the Republicans, we have Independents, Democrats, Libertarians, we cross all political party lines.”

“There is no denying that people are more angry at the Republican Party than the Democrats.”

“This spending started back with Bush.”

“This is not about President Obama.”

“I wish that we had coalesced behind one candidate earlier on. It’s not because of the tea party movement, it’s because there hasn’t been that candidate out there so far that has stirred the passion – the fire in the belly.”

Brilliant!  That’s what we’re all about Amy! Welcome aboard.

Amy Kremer is a true Southern belle. She can be often heard to say, “I do declare” with a little sweet little giggle at the end. Although prone to faint upon hearing news about the dreadful Yankees, she is strong willed and by the looks of her dainty, generous proportions, has never gone hungry again.

Born and raised in Atlanta after the great fire she was among women allowed to attend Auburn University. (such a snob)  Amy believes like all of us that despite billionaire support, she is part of a grassroots movement.

Amy, I consider myself an “american4Obama”. I really appreciate your words, and your ability to rise above the ‘group think’ mentality!

“there hasn’t been that candidate out there so far that has stirred the passion – the fire in the belly.” are you kidding me? what about Ron Paul?! Obama is bypassing congress to declare war congress obviously doesn’t hold the purse strings.

& for the moderators please realize obama is not working in your interest look at the patriot act & declaring unconstitutional wars please we need a change in this country

We weighed the choices and can safely say that Obama is not everything we wanted. Can anyone please everybody? But for reducing taxes, cutting the size of the government and getting the country back on track, Obama is a much better choice than Romney.

Amy, I consider myself a centrist, I would like to know how you stand on equal rights for all Americans.

Rockin! I love it. I believe in guns & itemized taxes, as well as a country that makes way for a reasonable living for working people – where a living wage (for working people & people who want to work) includes decent healthcare (something I’m sorry to say but we’re behind on), the ability to purchase healthful food, etc. Ultimately the best would be as little welfare as possible, & the first to do away w/ is the corporate kind. Even if you just give away money to the poor, they will put it all back into the economy, but B of A, Verizon, Ge, all the big evaders, they do the opposite – they use it for power over honest people.
Though I do have all kinds of opinions that don’t always gel with either side, it seems that the Repub party, at this time, really is the one that is more full of thuggish intentions. If we want to know if the supposed egalitarian party means business, well really I think if politics depends on advertising then politics will never represent the people, but I’d say let’s try the Democrats & see how far we can get. My version of progress-ive is not at all the same as liberal. It includes the best ideas from everywhere, but is Not designed to defend the rich into oblivion! So if it’s Obama, so be it – it’s a means to an end.
May we find our way to a balanced existence.
